Longway got the idea of starting the comapny many years ago when kids started doing tricks on the cheap aluminium scooters. At the time, the scooters had a system that allowed you to fold the scooter. Unfortunately, this meant that the parts were not very robust, and they broke much more easily.

That is why Longway, along with some of the first stuntmen on scooters, developed a stronger and more robust design. This helped develop the sport. After many years of cooperation, they decided to become independent and launched the Longway brand.

Longway is the only scooter brand that has its own factory. They have many innovative and unique parts in their scooters. The factory is in China and the factory is even BSCI certified to ensure good and safe working conditions for factory workers.
