Paul Smith was born in 1964 in England. When he was a kid he wanted to be an athlete, but after an accident, he needed to think again. He had many ideas about creating a colorful existence for himself and eventually he founded his clothing brand.

In 1970 he opened his first shop in Nottingham, England. His success increased rapidly, and he debuted his first collection for men in Paris in 1976. The value base ''classic with a twist' still applies to all his garments. '

Paul Smith made his debut in kids clothing in 1990. The iconic collections introduced clothes for kids from infant sizes to up to 16 years. The clothes had a feeling of eccentricity and humor that was well known from his adult collections.
